Your marriage doesn’t need another temporary fix. It needs a reboot at the heart level, the kind that happens when we stop making excuses, step into God’s light, and let His Word tell the truth about us. We talk candidly about how sin we don’t deal with, pride we don’t name, and lies we quietly believe can overload the “hard drive” of our souls until we’re tired, reactive, and stuck straddling the fence.

We walk through a simple three-step process you can use anytime: reassess, remember, and remain. Psalm 119 shows us how to come to God with real requests, real need, and real expectancy, while Romans 7 puts language to the ongoing battle between the flesh and the Spirit. Remembering the cross changes what we want, not just what we know. It reshapes how we speak to our spouse, how we respond under stress, and how we move from self-rule to humility.

Then we get practical about remaining. John 15 is clear: we cannot be “half connected” and expect lasting fruit. We share an everyday picture of what happens to a branch that’s barely hanging on, and we apply it to Christian marriage, spiritual renewal, and daily rhythms in God’s Word. We end by praying with David for what so many of us need: “Give me an undivided heart.” If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review so more couples can find biblical marriage help.
